My role in both of these pieces was primarily production. The creative director presented the clip, concept and assets and it was my responsibility to execute the concept and maintain brand guidelines. Using the rotobrush tool, I separated actors from the background to create striking visual effects.
I reviewed season 1 of Young Sheldon and selected commentary and insults that fit the "Young Sheldon's Best Burns" concept. Next, I edited the clips together in Adobe Premiere Pro and used Adobe After Effects to create various fire effects and used stock footage, plugins and existing compositions to extend the burning motif throughout the entire video. The result is a montage of clips that feature the main character and promote the DVD release of Young Sheldon. The concept and creative direction were provided by the Senior Creative Director at Mammoth Advertising.
This piece prompted fans of Lifetime Christmas movies to guess the title based on a visual teaser. For this piece we showcased the movie "Christmas Around the Corner." I helped brainstorm ideas for the concept including this christmas tree peeking around a brick wall. I then created the illustration in Adobe Illustrator and animated it in Adobe After Effects. Finally, I placed it within the existing, branded template.
